"I Would Highly Recommend Salmo Patagonia Lodge"

Having just returned from a wonderful week at the Salmo Patagonia Lodge, I wanted to offer my thoughts and experiences about our trip....

Going to Chile for the first time was an amazing adventure... The people are so warm and friendly, particularly the host and staff at the Lodge. Everywhere we went we felt comfortable and very welcomed.

Luis Antunez has created an incredible lodge at Salmo Patagonia.

Attention to detail is evident everywhere one looks - from the amenities in each room, the decorations throughout the lodge, the views from the compound, to the quality of food at each meal. The accommodations are first-class in every respect while remaining inviting and providing comfort after a long day in the field.

Luis and the other guides provided tremendous fishing opportunities each day. We fished rivers and private lakes for Brown and Rainbow trout using both nymphs and dry flies. We caught some of the largest fish of our lives and had a GREAT time fishing with the very entertaining guides. We even managed to land some Salmon at a river that was running very high due to prolonged rains. This was a bonus we did not expect.

I would highly recommend Salmo Patagonia to any fly-fisher interested in experiencing Patagonia at its finest. Exclusive access to private fishing waters, with competent and entertaining guides, while staying at a truly world-class resort all combine to provide an experience never to be forgotten.

I hope to return to Patagonia some day and see how Luis has increased the opportunities for fun and exciting fishing.
